Short version: QRScan.ph collects nothing, stores nothing, and shares nothing. Your camera and images never leave your device.

What Data We Collect

QRScan.ph does not collect personal data. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. We do not collect your name, email address, location, or any identifying information. Basic, anonymous server logs (such as page visits) may be retained by our hosting provider, but these are not linked to any individual user.

Camera and Image Access

When you use the camera feature, your browser asks for permission. If you grant it, your camera feed is processed locally on your device by JavaScript code running in the browser. The camera feed is never sent to any server. QRScan.ph does not record, store, or transmit video or images. When you upload an image, the file is read locally by your browser. It is never uploaded to a server and is cleared from memory after scanning is complete.

Cookies

QRScan.ph does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We do not use cookies to identify you, remember your behavior across sessions, or follow you around the web. If any functional cookies are set by the hosting infrastructure, they are technical in nature and not used for tracking.

Third-Party Services

QRScan.ph does not use third-party advertising networks. There are no ad scripts running on this site. We may use a hosting or infrastructure provider to serve the website. That provider may have its own privacy policy, but it does not have access to your camera data or uploaded images.

Children's Privacy

QRScan.ph is a general-purpose tool suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect data from children or anyone under the age of 13. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, there is nothing specific to children to disclose.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. We will not notify users by email because we do not collect email addresses. Check this page periodically if you want to stay updated.
